Cpu considtration for domain controller virtualization (Vmware)

Building a single-processor virtual machine operating as a domain controller should be more than sufficient for performance as a production domain controller. As an infrastructure application, a domain controller tends to use less than 10 percent of CPU resources. Multiprocessor virtual domain controllers generally do not increase their performance linearly. Generally, multiprocessor virtual machines tend to restrict VMware ESX server CPU scheduling flexibility.
